Achtung Road Trippin’
October 29, 2016

During one weekend in Ireland we decided to rent a car and take it all around Ireland and up into Northern Ireland. It was a lot of driving and we got to see so so much. Starting with breakfast in Limerick, then stopping at the epic Cliffs of Insanity… er.. I mean Cliffs of Moher, one night in Sligo, heading up into Northern Island straight to the Giant’s Causeway, and back down to Dublin. It was a pretty epic Irish tour. It was amazing and too fast too furious.
I only got this one pic of Limerick. It seemed like a really cute town. I would like to go back and explore more of it someday.
CLIFFS. HOLY SH*T!
These cliffs were so epically high my fear of heights was seriously messing with my mind. We walked around as much as my anxiety could handle and I got some sweet pics of the magic.

and we ate brownies there.

We took a brief driving break to take selfies with some Donkeys.
So cute!
Now for Northern Ireland!
and then we saw this sign with all my street names on it. I am B’fast, B’money, and B’furious.
We made it over to the Giant’s Causeway. Another magical sight to see. It’s just so cool!
The rocks have formed these amazing octagonal pillar shape. Wow science is cool! or maybe it really was Giants … there is no way to know.

After leaving the Giant’s Causeway we tried to find some Game of Thrones filming locations. While looking for the Winterfell Castle we stumbled upon the bridge that Jaime and Brienne fought on! Which is in a beautiful public park in Northern Ireland.
One of my favourite things about driving around the Irish countryside is how many sweet castles are around and they all seem to be in pretty good shape. Compared to driving around Scotland where the castles are all mostly in ruin.
If we ever make it back to Ireland I would love to spend some more time around Limerick, Galway, and Sligo. Maybe check out Belfast in Northern Ireland.
Coming up next: PARIS!
