Off Beat Update

In an attempt to be a better blogger and to perhaps sustain this blog while I’m not travelling as much over the summer I’m going to start some different posts. Something off beat. I saw this on another blog and thought it would be fun to post. Of course I’m still getting caught up on some past travel posts which are soon to come!

Currently I am….

Loving– Spring time in Toronto! I love the sun and everything turning green.

Reading– blogs! I follow a few lifestyle blogs that are photography and travel focused like The Dainty Squid, Paige Joanna, and Mfer Photography. I’ve also been enjoying Women with Tattoos and Pantsville Press. More travel related, I’ve been loving Uncommon Caribbean’s blog which is the type of blog I’d like to have someday.

Shopping For– Denim. I’ve been wanting to get a nice pair of jeans to mix up my pant wardrobe. I almost exclusively wear black skinny jeans and have been doing so for 3-4 years. I just need to mix it up. Mostly I’m trying to resist shopping until I get to Halifax because my suitcase is already busting!

Excited About– Going back to Halifax for the summer. It’ll be weird to be back but I’m really looking forward to reconnecting with all my friends there.

Trying To– Be healthier. I’ve found it really difficult to exercise regularly while travelling and of course I want to try all the foods in every city.

Working On– Being a better blogger by reading more blogs and spending more time with mine.

Enjoying– Trying new recipes. Mostly Indian inspired or Mexican dishes.

Using– My new Apple Watch. It’s basically magic and I’m excited to track my health and fitness better with it.

Wearing– All black and my denim jacket. Not very exciting but it’s basically my uniform.

Planning– Some long term travels starting next year!

Singing– All the songs from Chicago the musical.

Needing– My hair coloured! I haven’t dyed it since December! Trying to be budget savvy … I’ll probably do it myself soon.

Learning– Different photography techniques.

Listening To– Kendrick Lamar and the new New Pornographers.

Wishing– For more time and energy to work on all my projects.

Doing– Exploring Toronto.

Dreaming Of– Nova Scotia beaches this summer.

Whelp, that was fun to check in with my interests. I don’t even care how boring I am.
