On the Road in Puerto Rico
July 24, 2017

We took a weekend, rented a car, and explored the countryside of Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is a really really cool and amazing place, but let it be noted that the drivers are so craaa!
Starting at a farmer’s market at the edge of town we ate lunch and grabbed some fresh fruit for our day.
I would sell my arm to get avocados like these ones in Canada.
After the market we headed to the Seven Seas beach in the North East of the island. We spent most of the day there chillin’.
Day 2:
We headed into a cave!

I touched some bat guano … I feel weird about it.
For lunch we stopped for roadside pinchos! Chicken kebabs and garlic bread! Best meal ever.
After cave exploring and lunch we headed up to the Arecibo Observatory!
Just watch this video to see what it was like!
After some epic space learnin’ we ended our day at the beach before heading back to San Juan.
I am thrilled we got the chance to explore more of Puerto Rico. I hope that one day we can explore even more. There is so much to this island.
Next: We go to San Francisco!
